tomorrow, Thursday 2 October, is the celebration of teh end of Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims. Is called the “Eid”. Our gud frend Hashim has been doing the fasting for 30 days (maybe otters here also; ai donut know, but ai includes them in this invitation).

Now, seems to me that Hashim has done a difficult thing, since so much of the fun here has to do with food, drinks, more food, lists of food, recipes for food, descriptions of food, longing for food, and fun about kittehs wanting food. (Then there’s the whole thing of goggies and food, but donut get me started…). Imagine playing here but nawt eating frum sunrise to sunset! Ai has a hungry just thinking about it.

So tomorrow, wehn Hashim appears, ai suggests we can greets him wif a happytail “Eid mubarak” (happy Eid). We can has a party, ai finkso.

But wait, ai has moar of an ideer. The Eid is a time for celebrashun of the end of Ramadan. But it appears that one of the nawt-secund parts of teh celebrashun is to give food to those in need. What a concept. After a munth of nawt eating what you might wants to, yew donates cheezburgers to those wif a hungry. w00t!! So, today, ai has maded a small donashun to our local food bank, in honor of Hashim and Simbacat. Maybe this is a good ideer if anybuddy else wants to do it also.
