az has a law allowing early termination of a lease in cases of domestic violence. whether domestic violence includes roommates who are not related in any way
(it just says, members of a household) is the question. hubby used to do some landlord-tenant law but this was new to him. main thing was he knew where to look it up in the statutes and how to read it. they write them so normal people can’t figure them out

rental laws vary a lot from state to state even town to town I managed apartments on the side for 18 years ( in Hollywood no less, oh the stories I could tell, [wait for the book] ) there is not much the landlord can do unless his/her (landlords) property is being damaged

just talked to my boi agin. he gotted guy frum church to go to teh apartment wif him so him culd get hims stuff he needs for now. ovver roommates wurnt tehre. howsing cordinator at church will se if anywun needs a new roommate. my boi gotted text messij from teh roommate saying him iz willing to cooperate in signing off on teh leese to end teh living arraynjmint. apparently it wuz poleese hoo taked teh report hoo sed it not wurth it to press charges. if teh guy iz willing to cooperate wif letting my son owt ob teh leese, tehn i’ll go along wif that. my boi plans to moov owt a bit at a time, wif help frum church frends, an hoepfully will hab a noo playse soon. at leest him haz himz grandparents tehre so him haz a playse to sleep.
