We had an intelligent cat (rocket scientist caliber) who, about once a year, would do something really stupid. One Christmas, she climbed onto a high shelf to get a good look at a candle (we thought it was well out of her reach). We caught her (we thought) just in time, all yelled “NO NO” to shoo her away, she gave us a glare of utter contempt and disdain (“You idiotic, naked monkeys!”) and proceeded to sniff the candle. Lost all the whiskers on the right side of her face. Fortunately was otherwise uninjured. Someday I’ll share the sweater story.

Mai sweet lil nephews (around 10 and 13 years old at de tiem) had neber ha kittehs due to allergeez. So wen Ai got my leetle Mango kitteh (7 weeks old), dey wer fassna…facin…cudn’t keep der hanz off of her. She ended up wif no whiskers at all after dat visit. Dey neber admitud it, but kitteh whiskers don jus disappear!

Dems Tilly hats is nawt fer fashion, dey is fer keeping the sun an rain off de summer an the snow an wind off in de winter. Dey wud only be fashunable amung peeps too hip to worry about fashion. Very gud for Hiking, gardening, canoeing, sailing, generally bein outdoors when it’s sunny. De winter hats are good fer being outside when it’s cold or snowy, I always wears mine when XC skiing or snowshowing or shoveling de walk.
