We gits sugar monidars tu stick mah beeg boy (who came wif da naem ‘Tiny’ dat dounut fit but he anzer tu so iz hiz naem!) Acording to old vet dat ai makes resque gives me so i can git back story, Tiny weighed 24.5lbs when he git last check up fur to git resque. He iz nao (6 monfs lader) 15.8lbs so he gits much bettah soon ai hopes. But cause so mush chang we fink to monidor him lotz til we figure wat hiz sugar doz.

Da syrup fin iz gud idea, ai send mah husbee to go git sum az ai naut hoem aw weak on da biznus. Him an ai use ta be paramed… para… onze dat ried on da ambu.. ambo.. fin dat has da bed an gose tu da hospi.. pwace dey fix ew wen ew iz borked. So we can nodess da insulin shok!

(sry i doan know new kittehs names)

Ohai midnightsdeer! Ai had a kitteh wif diabetes wuns. A cupple uv sugjeschuns… If yoo haz a Costco neer and r a member, itz teh best prise on insulin, ai fink. Also, diabetes can be a bit transient in kittehs. Mai kitteh needed kwite a bit, but latur didint. Dat meens it mite be possible to gib a overdose of insulin if the kittehs insulin need decreases. Keep sum Karo syrup on hand and if kitteh seems to git lethargic aftur insulin, rub sum syrup on the kittehs gums. Dat’s wut mai vet rekommended. Den chek wif vet to reevaluate sugar levels and insulin dosage. Hope kitteh will be okay! Is not too bad manajing kitteh wif diabetes.

Da beeg won dough turns out has da diabetes.
But ai keeps mah promused dat ai nawt gives up on him. So naw ai gives him hiz shotz in da morning.

Da vet dat ai sees after furst week of da insulan, she cry a littel tear wen ai brings mah boy bak cause she fought ai wood send him bak to be yout-in-ized. (were eber Ized iz, mah boy iz tu old tu be a yout!) But ai tells her we iz a team nau! An mah beeg boy he sits on examdanashun tabel an snorgle wif meh. Bot mah boy and da vet mak meh feels very speshul!

Uff da. Yeh, mai mom haded teh operashun in teh 60’s and she haz a big scar. Dad haded it in teh 70’s and waz not so big scar, but still big. Mai former boss haded it a fyoo yeers ago and she wuz in and owt in less than 24 hours so it is considurd outpashunt. I’m nawt working rite naow, but paying fur inshurance, so mebbe ai shoud do it sins teh inshurance iz costing mii sew much. Get mai monee’s wurth! Bleah, ai still hazzint payed fur dis munth yet. Bizzee lukkin fur a job! Also got to go to Minnesota nekst week so ai hoep it kan waet.

OMG, I love your blog! I love all the food pics and the pictures of your daughter. The shoes are cute, too! My niece is 10 now, and it’s so funny, she’s a big girl (not fat, just tall — she takes after her mom who is 6 feet tall) and we can wear the same shoes. I always try her shoes on when I see her, but she’s actually starting to go up a shoe size (from 7 to so maybe I can get her cute shoes as hand-me-downs! She’s going to be a tall girl. I already hate her (in that loving but jealous way) for her long legs. See, I’m only 5′2″.
