Sorry about that! Actually the avatars don’t come from us — they come from WordPress.com (our blogging platform), and unfortunately, we don’t have any control over the avatars that they choose for our site. I know some of them are not so cute and happy.
We’ll contact WordPress and see if there is anything they can do to change our avatars back.

Furst problem- when i tries to upload a pickshur, it takes me to a screen where it axes me to crop teh image, but I don’t know how and cant find enny direcshuns.
Sekkund- I had to use a different user name, cuz it sed Leeza was taken; I put Leeza in the nickname box, but when I post here it’s still showing my name as the user name!
PS I know it takes a wile for the abatar to show up here. But if I had loaded it ok, I shud see it on my werdpress profile, rite? I did try logging out of WP and back in agin.
i fink you need to crop the pic in a photo edit program, save,then re-upload..sumwheres it should tell you the size to crop it to. I doan remember cuz it’s been 8 mos since I did mine
I didn’t haz to go to anuvver program. As soon az I uploaded pic, a dotted line square appeared nd I moved it to the most important part ov pikshur. Rite dere.

For cropping, you just moves the dottede line square ober teh part ov the pikshur you want. That’s awl der iz to dat.

teh dotted line skware is nowhere near the pickshur, it’s up in the page header, and I can’t get it to move out of the header……..

I can make the skware bigger but it stays up in the header of the page and i can’t move it down to the picture at all.

This is so frustrating, I had no problem signing on to ICHC and getting a profile, I’ve tried everything I know. This is why I’ve avoided this up to now but I just HATE these new avatars….
I’ll be bak for teh race, but I think I have to sign off for a while. I haven’t got any work done today for messing around trying to get this to work, and have gotten pretty much nowhere.
skwirrlgrl, the first few times I tried to crop my pic, it wouldn’t work either. So frustrating! Then the next time it did. So keep trying!
