He had been poorly for a while, with a very nasty chest infection that didn’t respond to antibiotics.
He got up this morning to tell my Mummeh it wuz brekfuss tyme, but he collapsed and died before he got to teh Kitchen.

In a little tiny way he helped us-Mungo made his own decision to leave us and go to the meadow. None of us had to make that choice for him.

A friend of mind that lives in the West Kootenay area of BC, had a kitten that did this to a young bear. Even though the bear cub outweighed the kitten, he thinks that they were both too young to know better. The kitten made like a puffer fish & nearly doubled in size with his fur standing on end. And he hissed and snarled and spat and swore so much that the bear didn’t want to take any chances! A very cool story!
