We’ve been calling him HappyCat because he’s the happiest kitty I’ve ever seen. He’s the same color as ICHC Happy Cat, so it just seemed to fit. I know that all cats are special, but this one is extra special. If there were any way I could keep him, I would.

He’s at the Casa Grande Animal Shelter (between Phoenix and Tucson). If you could adopt him, and you don’t live near here, I could bring him to you. I’ve been searching for a forever home for him, and I’m not having any luck.

I’ve already had to beg for his life once, so he wouldn’t be put on “the list” of cats that they were going to euthanize.

Aw, I’m gonna cry! He’s so pretty! If I didn’t have six, and my walk-up in back, and my ferals at the warehouse, I’d drive down there and get him. I wish I could get my brother and SIL to take him. They lost their Jane Doe a year ago and their son would like another cat. He was so good about taking care of Jane. SIL’s sister lives in Phoenix area. Wish she could get him and give him to her sister up in Sacramento.
I hope the kitty can find a good home! Who wouldn’t want such a nice kitty?

When I visit him at the shelter (when they let me), he puts his front paws on my chest and gives me love bites on my chin. As if that doesn’t tug at my heart strings enough, he’ll rub his cheek on my cheek and just hold it there, like he’s just SO happy to have someone loving him up.

It’s a bad situation.
When I was begging for his life, I asked if I needed to adopt him out that day, so he wouldn’t be killed. They told me that since I had already told them that my cat’s wouldn’t tolerate another cat - that they wouldn’t adopt him to ME!

They don’t adopt many cats out of that shelter. They’re not even open on weekends.
