1. You must set up a wordpress profile
2. You upload an avatar into wordpress
3. You insert a weblink from wordpress to your ICHC profile.
4. Your avatar should appear, and your name should turn blue so folks can click to go to profile.
5. At first, you must sign on to your wordpress profile before going to ICHC in order for the avatar to appear.

this is the starting place. Go there and follow the site instructions for setting up a profile.
I believe you should mirror the name you are using in ICHC.
Within that profile setup, you will see a place to upload a picture of your choice, which will become your Avatar. You can upload any photo or clipart you choose, and will be given an opportunity to CROP the photo to show just the part you want in your little postage stamp.
Also, within the profile there is a section labeled contact info. which includes a box labeled “Website”. You can put any website you want to in that box . . . but most of us insert our ICHC profile address, so that when your name is blue and someone clicks on it, they go to your ICHC profile and can read about you and be added to your friend list. Some folks who have their own websites outside of ICHC will direct you to that site or blog.
