The cookies when you log into WordPress will be carried over when you visit ICHC. After first time you get it working, you just have to log into WordPress and then go straight to ICHC. I put both in my favorites, so that I click the WordPress favorite, login, and then click the ICHC favorite.

I has a frustrated.

Mother awlwaiz wanted a Basset Hound, and in 1990, she gotted her wish. Dat Basset Hound wuz teh bestest dawg ai can remember in teh family. Time passed, years went bai, and, I fink, in 2005, he crossed ober teh Rainbow Bridge. It was so odd bisitating muther & fahther and not to be greeted bai that wunnerful Basset Hound. Ai felt teh emptiness in that haus, and apparently sew did the parental owls. Wun dai, dey were looking online for anuther Basset Hound and foundededed wun. They drove roughly 1500 miles round-trip to bring new dawg home.

Around this saem tiem, ai started finking (ai knoes…iz bery dangerous wen ai start finking.): I comes hoem ebery dai to…no wun…an empty ‘partment. I has a sad. Sew, I continued to fink (more dangerous stuff, ai knoes): Ai gnu a goggie wud bee too mush for me to handle, sew…mebbe a kitteh??? I called mai sister wun dai and tolded her that I needed her to tawk me aout of adopting/being adopted bai a kitteh. Sister said ‘Dere’s noe way ai’m eber going to talk ennyone out of adopting/being adopted bai a kitteh.’ Mai sis is teh ‘kitteh qween’ uv teh fambily, has awlwais had kittehs. So, with a sigh, I accepted that I wuz ‘doomed’ to wun day being…owned_by_a_kitteh.

Sew, wun day, ai drove out tew our local Animal Rescue League (a no-kill place, btw). It was about 10 or 11 AM. I had previously dun a little ‘homework’ at petfinder.com…or find-a-pet.com…sumfing liek dat. Ai saw a few kittehs that interested me, so when I gotted to teh rescue league place, ai asked to see dem. ‘Tew or three’ quickly bablooned to many moar kittehs Iai wanted to see. The kittehs had awl kinds of kitteh-nalities, some literally bouncing off teh walls crazy, some so shy dey was skeered of me and hided in cubby-holes on a desk. Bai this tiem, Iai had spent teh bedder part of five hours ‘interviewing’ kittehs, seeing hao dey’d inter…inter…play wif me or nawt. Ai had seen ten kittehs bai dis tiem. Then, ai asked to see wun more…the elebenty’ith kitteh. Himmmm’s naem was Zeus. He walked right up to me, climbed into mai lap, and curled up to taek a catnap, purring contentedly. SOLED! HE choes ME! That was Friday, October 20, 2006. Ai returned to get my new kitteh on Monday, October 23, 2006, but stoopy me forgotted dey’re closed on Mundais…no problem. Ai returneded a secornd (furd? forf?) tiem on Twosdai, paid the ‘contribution’ fee, and my 2-and-a-half-year-old, 10.1-pound stray kitteh hoo adopted me took me home to mai ‘partment. As noted, as of October 24, 206, ai wuz toldeded Zeus was 2-and-a-half years old…fine. I did a little quick arith… arithmet… I added 6 months to that date and decided him’s burfday is April 24. So, ebery year, Zeus has two birfdays: October 24, for teh dai he ‘dopted me; and April 24, him’s ‘official’ birfday, complete with can-of-tuna birfday cake and candlols. Him sillybrated him’s 4th birdday this past April 24.
