Your English seems to be very good. So it shouldn’t be that hard for you once you get used to it.

What we are speaking is called LOLspeak or LOLcat – and it is NOT necessary to speak it to comment here. You are welcome to use normal English. Maus often does, as do others.

But for many of us, it is necessary, because it CAN be MUCH funnier than plain English, and gives one a chance to express oneself in entirely different ways than one normally can. It’s NOT baby talk. The premise originally was that it is how cats would write – cats who care nothing for grammar or spelling!

A tip to understanding. Read it out loud. It is often written phonetically, so if you read it aloud, it should be much more clear. And of course, look at the LOLspeak site. Shoudl be a big help. And “the” is normally spelled “teh.” But there are no real rules. But many of us now spell the same way.

Other, such as gibbocat, exhibit a new level of brilliance and inventivenss in how to look at and use words. He is also harder to understand, but SOOOOO worth it. He gives a whole new way to look at words and meanings. But he is far to modest to think that – or perhaps even realize it.
