RHSB, Ise awfully sawy to hear dat yer going frew the nawt nice process of breakin up. I’ve been there twice before and it was nawt good for either party either time. I wuz lucky enough to convince my 2nd ex to go into divorce mediation with me and it makes the process less painful and less expensive. A mediatir will hep you get a separation agreement that will stand up to the legal rigors and they are less expensive and less contentious than having two lawyers fight it out at $300 per hour. The best divorce is the one where the suffering is divided equally. If you get a good mediator then you’ll only need lawyers at the end to make it all official. Also call the local Lawyers referral service, they should be able to provide you names and numbers of some divorce lawyers who will talk with, briefly, often for free. Don’t move out until you have talked to someone.
