Me too! I think I’ve telled teh story here befoar about my Jethro and teh Harry & David gift box. I gotted teh box in 2005 as a gift after I had sugeries. I set it on teh coffee table in teh libbing room when it arrived and I blinked and there was Jethro sitting on top of it. He let me remove teh contents but teh box stayed on teh table for nearly 3 years, slowly developing a Jethro-sized groove in teh top. After I losed Jethro earlier this year, I moved teh box first to a shelf where I could still see it, then to a closet, then I finally axed my BF to take it out of teh house for me.

It’s hard to tell, akshually. She still has a good appetite and she will come to me to be petted and snuggled and insists on being combed every morning, no matter how late I am for work. She goes next week for her 3rd chemo and some x-rays. They’ll see how teh malignant mass has responded to teh last chemo. Keep ur fingers and other appendages crossed for shrinkage!

We kalled it “the back box.” Wuz Grem’s fayvrit playc.

If I had been thinking clearly at teh time, I would’ve taken teh Harry and David box to teh vet when Jethro was put down, so he could sit on it if he wanted to and be taken away in it. As it was, I’m sure he didn’t mind that it wasn’t there. I think where he is now he has his Harry and David box with him anyway. My BF was touched that I axed him to take care of (i.e. get rid off) teh box for me.
