IT tech support people were not born this way, We were made this way by thousands of idiotic questions and people NOT unplugging it for 30 seconds. and btw thats an SB5101/5100 series Motorola Cable DOCSIS2.0 Modem not DSL.

and believe it or not they lock up with ease and the only cure IS to turn them off for 30 secs then plug the power back in, the button on the top is only a standy button and doesn’t reset the Modem, just stops Data transfer through the Ethernet port (which is just 10/100 Mbps not Gigabit)
