Most of them recovered early, but it took until today for MaryO’S to return to us.

I just disparaged my oven a little while ago. I was timing something for dinners and used my brand-new, cobalt-blu Lux timer. Teh kittehs was startlefied when teh bell ringed, but I telled them it was not nearly as obknocks… oblong… omnivorous… not nearly as annoying as teh BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT that teh oven timer says.

Hao iz Miss Esme doin?
Thx! I has teh cobalt-blu and white as my kitchen colors. I hadded a white Lux timer for elebenty years but it died recently. I had wanted a blu one ever since I sawr one in teh store ages ago but it seemed silleh to buy one when teh old one workded just fine. But when teh old one died, I couldn’t find a blu one anywhares, not even online! Then I writed teh Lux peeps and they gived me a phone # of Ace Hardware in Florida and they ordered one for me… which drop-shipped from Lux. Why teh Lux peeps couldn’t just send it to me, I dunno.
I also has a blu fud processor (even though I hardly ever has blu fuds) and a blu coffee maker, which makes black coffee. And lotsandlots of blue glass cooking dishes, spatulers and sillycon baking dishes, blu wineglasses (red wines look real purdy in them) and blu drinking glasses. Oh, and flatware wif blu handles. My dinner plates? Cranberry, why?

It taked a long time, but yeah, most of teh stuff matches. My teapot is cranberry, too. I almost buyed a coblolt blu one, but I rembered taht usually I has tea out in teh libbing room/dining area, whare teh colors is cranberry/burgundy/hunter green. That’s also why I wented wif cranberry plates, although my mommeh gived me two blu ones on Xmas so I put them in teh stack just for varieties.
Yeers uv werkin in retayl has gibben me an assortment uv kitchen stuffs…..wutebber wuz awn cleerance or damaged owt went home wif me!
Oh, and I forgetted: I got thru my local Freecycle a set of T-Fal blu pots & pans. Some are faded, but all are blu! It was specially nice because I needed a 8-qt pot because I only hadda 4-qt and always had to break my pasketties in half before cooking hem.

When I gotted Esme, I hadda 12-year-old grouch who was used to bein a only kitteh. So I on purpose got a female kitten, 4 months old. Female, so Mr. Grouch wouldn’t be threttened, and a bigger kitten so she could outrun him and mabye make him feel protective.
When I brang her home and he sawr that there was *gasp* a kitten in teh house, he runned and hided under my bed. They was best frenz in about a day andahalf.
Sevrl tims a year ai almos take a chance an stop by teh adopshun shelter. When Jr Kitteh does finly nok on our door, I hope Sr. kitteh adjusts as qwik/as well as urs.
I was teh lucky, troo. But if u has enuff room, u can has another kitteh in teh house whare ur kitteh cannot see it, only smell it. Then u switch rooms so they can smell each other up close wifout gettin personal. It takes a while but it can be done moar or less smoovly.

Here’s how I *think* it works:
You have one .php file that defines how to display all the posts. It has the “possibly related posts” generator included in it, so that “feature” can’t be tweaked or disabled on a post-by-post basis, as with some other general WP features. (For all I know, WP may give you some kind of hosting deal or something if you use this feature — because it creates traffic for other WP sites — so they wouldn’t want it disable-able.)
I’m guessing the related posts thingy looks for other posts on WP sites that have the same tags or keywords. I’m also guessing that you can put some kind of max rating on what shows up, like you can with WP avatars and gravatars — G, PG, R, etc. — because naughty sites use all kinds of keywords to try to get traffic, so otherwise we’d have all kinds of stuff on here every day.
Also I’m sure the BB’s filter comments for questionable content and spam, as there is very little spam on here if any — but this item wasn’t a comment, so it may not have been filtered to the BB’s usual standards.
In this case, something on the lolcatus post (prob the borg reference) must have been a keyword or tag match for the other post, and the fact that the post title had *** all over it meant that it wasn’t caught by any filters that are in place.
If all this assuming is on-target, my suggestion to the BBs would be to remove all keywords and/or tags in the lolcatus post, and see if that gets rid of the nasty link. ???
