I don’t think this is a funny picture. People should be careful with windows like this one. A cat of mine because she got stuck between the window when she tried to jump out of it. She got paralyzed and we had to put her to sleep. So please: if this is a cat from anyone around here, I warn you! Be careful with this kind of windows!!!! They are very dangerous for cats!!!!
I agree! These windows are death traps! Many cats have died while trying to get out…they slide down and get stuck…the death struggle that ensues is not a pretty picture…imagine coming home to your cat half in half out, tongue out and swollen, woodwork totally scratched up proves the awfull struggle the cat faught before simply sufficating…pleasepleaseplease…secure windows like these!

You have no idea about anything other than the singular moment captured here. Had it even occured to you that the owner of this cat actually had his/her camera and was taking a picture of the cat when this occured? No? Cat’s move so quickly if they see a bird etc, that by the time the camera goes off, he could be in a situation like this…are you also suggesting that perhaps they left the cat here for an extended period of time? To reiterate, you have no idea of the circumstances surrounding this picture, so you have no real right to pass judgement and accuse someone of cruelty or neglect. Also, cats get themselves into situations like this all the time, their bodies are flexible and they are usually able to get themselve free without help- perhaps this cat did too.

Yes, please have your cat neutered. MILLIONS of cats are killed every year because there are simply not enough homes for them all. The compassionate and responsible thing to do is spay & neuter – it saves lives!
