When I put fuel in a day or so ago, a gallon of unleaded gas was
about £5.20p
A gallon of diesel is about £5.95p
At todays exchange rate ,that is about $10 dollars a gallon.
And we complain about $4.00! (rounded off, of course!) There are other causess of high fuel prices—like the high cost of oil..Kindly remember there is a little thing called supply and demand. OPEC has a great deal to do with that. Youngster—you can’t make everything fit into a neat little box. Sometimes the cubbies just don’t fit the holes! You need to be a little more open-minded about some of these things. There are definitely absolutes in this world…but economics and politics definitely DON’T fall into that category. Do some more reading and research and find out the whole story before you start spouting talk-show-radio dogma, okay?
