I just wanted to thank any and all rescue workers-kitteh or pupper. I have been a Park Sign Tech for 25 years and the Animal Shelter was short four peeps. Well then. I am now a Shelter worker for the next six weeks. I have no prob with cleaning poo/pee at my current salary. No prob at all. But watching the hopeful eyes, the swishing happy-tails and the mewing of kittehs with their bitty paws stuck out the bars at you… Well, let’s just say Day One-today-only one meltdown needing mass quantities of tissue. So thank you peeps for your service to those who have no voice. Stay strong.

I used to bolunteer at an Aminal Shelter, and it waz hard lukin into their beeg eyes. Sum waz happeh and grateful fur teh attenshun, sum waz skeered, sum had a sad and waz depressed.

His name is Tweezer, and unfortunately he died on Monday 16th March 2009 shortly after he fell from his 5th floor home. He was very fond of pistachio nuts and M&Ms (to play with, not to eat), and for the last 6 months (shortly after the lid of the toilet cistern was broken) he would only drink from there.
He will be missed.
