If you click my name, I posted a kind of global thank-you on my blog… I’m so astounded at everyone’s kindness and generosity… (I will properly thank everyone, I promise… I just had to post something to show my utter astonishment!!)

in TWELVE HOURS, I got enough money from chzfrenz to make more than my usual monthly payment for NEXT MONTH… I usually send them $225 a month…. you’ve all donated over $350!!

The technical “monthly payment” is only a little bit (I think it’s like $40 or something) but the Care Credit card gave me a 12-months-no-interest promotion since the bill was more than $1,000…. (it was actually $2100) … so I figure if I pay them $225 a month I’ll have it easily paid off before the 12th month so I never pay interest…

You guys have not only made this MORE than possible, but it’s helping me in countless other ways… I’m about to move, and I need to fix up the house, and now… I don’t have such a worry about KB’s bill, I can worry about the price of landscaping and re-doing the floors…. And $350 is the difference between the bargain-basement discontinued flooring and the nice tongue-in-groove no-glue 10-year-warranty stuff. You guys are utterly, completely, truly awesome.

I asked my roommate to help me with a special treat for my chzfrenz… It’ll be a little while because I’m finishing my school term and I don’t have a lot of time to spend, but I have ideas, and when it’s done, I’ll be sure to let you all know.

Re: Firemen….When I wuz 10 years old, my Dad and I be in bad kar aksident. My Dad be too injured to get out of kar, so I klimbed up hill by myself to da road. Firetruck had just arrived, and there be a couple cars that be stopped by side of road. A fireman saw me, a little gurl who had just klimbed a hill from a wrekked kar, and he swooped me up in hiz arms and karried me to a kar (it wuz cold that day). He chekked me ober qwiklee (I had a big bump on head from knocking out da windsheeld), then ran off to help get my Dad outta da kar. Ambulance soon arrived, everything eventshually turned out okay. My biggest, best memory of dat whole affair wuz thinking - even as a little kitty - “wow, I being karried by handsum fireman!” I luvs the hero-types.
