I usd to have a chemistry professor and biology professor who were both in Kiwanis together and stuff… Bio prof (Dr. Mowry) told us to pester Dr. Wilson (chem) about the “Molecular evolution of water”. They were old friends and were always using the students to poke at each other, because nearly all the students who were in Mowry’s class were also in Wilson’s class and the classes were almost back-to-back.
And… so I did….. the whole class was cracking up as Dr. Wilson got redder and redder in the face…. he finally was yelling “WATER DIDN’T EVOLUTE FROM ANYTHING!!” It was hilarious. He was throwing erasers and then said, “MOWRY did this, didn’t he?” and then he stomped out the door, slamming it, we could hear him barking at Mowry down the hall….. it was such fun!!

I don’t have the link (I’m sure someone else will post it), but it’s from a lolcat in which there’s an orange toy mousie & a kitty sprawled out on his back as if he was poisoned by trying to chew on the orange mousie. It’s very cute (as are many things on this site). The caption was something like “watch out for the orange ones – they’re poison” (in lolspeak, of course). Somehow, the concept has morphed & now people say the orange kitties are poison (though any of us who owns or has ever owned an orange kitty knows MOST of them aren’t poison).

itz an interestin (and time consuming) exercise to go back to the earliest times of this site and read through the comments on all the old pics up to the present. It would make a moderately inteesting subject for a sociology paper I fink. In Jan ‘07 there were usually less than 20 commentz and the comments were are jut that, comments5 – 10 werds, nawt legnthy diatrybes like dis.

When I hit a werd I have looked up more then twyce before, I spend a minnum studyin it so I don’t has to mark it a 3rd time. I’se embareassed to admit that there are some werds in that book wif 5 S’s or 3 D’s.
