I’m trying to read this, and I think you’re saying that it’s fun.

It isn’t. If I’m having trouble understanding what these comments say, imagine someone that is a native English speaker. Sure they may understand the macros, but sentences and paragraphs full of bad grammar and poor spelling? I doubt it.

We speak in English, believe it or not.

We misspell words, change pronunciation, switch tenses, and generally play around with grammar each in our own individual way.

All this is done just for fun. If it weren’t done in LOL Speak, it would probably be deadly dull. It would be much easier to read, but not very entertaining.

We are all dedicated cat-lovers, and are pretty literature oriented;
i.e., we love cats and generally like to read.

So I would say to you: read it for awhile, and eventually it will start to make sense. There is a LOL Cats glossary which you might want to read, because it explains LOL Speak extensively. When you feel ready, just jump right in and post a comment; it’s tons of fun and can cheer you up a lot if you’re having a down day, because Cheez Frends are very friendly and caring. Good Luck!!!
