Not to worry: I is carrying wet wipes in a holster these days. Mah gerl kitteh hads sergeries on her bum and is warin’ a e-collar. She can’t cleen hersself so I gets 2 do it 4 her.
So after all that, a little boogie is like a walk in teh park. U knoes, all green and stuff.

She is NOT happy in that collar. Her bum is all sore so it’s hard for me to clean because I don’t want to hurt her but if I don’t clean her it gets worse.
But she did purr for me this morning and gived me a kiss on my nose so she’s not blaming me for *everything*. Her companion kitteh, young Liam, is mostly being good about not beating on her. Mostly.

haz u tried warming up teh wypes just a *teensy* bit? when ai haz to, um, attend to the nethur regyuns of mai kittehs it seems to werk better if the wiping is dun with something that is bottom, er body temperchur.
I’ll try that. I had to take her to the vet Saturday because she had gotten out of her collar for a while on Thursday while I was at work and Friday night her bum was so sore she wouldn’t let me near it. She didn’t hurt the incision site and they cleaned her and shaved her a little moar. So she was nice and cleen when I picked her up, but then she peed in her carrier on the way home. Poor kitteh.

I don’t think she was teh skared. She is usually very calm and quiet when she knows she’s going home. I think that it was just bad timing — If she’d'a knowed I was coming to pick her up then she woulda gone before they took her out of teh cage. She was sayin’ “Myow! Myow! Myow!” to me even before we left teh vet and was still talking to me like that in teh car. She did that one time before and also ended up peeing in her carrier. I think her meowing was that she was trying to tell me she had to go, not that there was anything I could do about it. Most gas stations don’t has litterboxes on hand. She quieted down as soon as she peed.

Liam’s getting bigger every day and is growing out of his all-berserker-all-teh-time stage. He’ll sit quiety for a while every now and then. He still goes into what I call his “little boi” mode and either climbs into my lap or on my shoulder for a snuggle or if I’m standing he’ll do like toddlers to and raise his front legs in the air as if saying “Up! Up, mama!” But when he’s not in little boi mode, being held is DO NOT WANT.

Well, I went out yesterday and buyed teh extry senstive, use on ur newborned, no alkyhol a-tall kinda wipes. I warmed them up a little like leeza suggested. Esme still not happy bout it but not as grumpy as before. I also used teh water spritzer thingy in teh kitchen sink. She tolerated that better than teh wipes.

I had the only kitteh that wuz akshually persood and apprehended by a presidential sekret service guard….one that we knew came by our haus after hiz shift, still wearing hiz badge ID, and hiz holstered gun. When he wuz leeving, my dearest, departed Amir ran out the door (az he often did, even though he be indoor-only kitteh). “I said, “I have to go catch him!” and the Seckret Service guy said “I’ll get him!” (and I’m thinking Amir will only run from a stranger!!!) and the guy took off running after Amir. Amir ran into the dryveway and under a van, and the Sekrit Service guy dived under the van and grabbed him. He returned the still defiant Amir to me, sed “Have a good day, Mam,” and rode off into the sunset.
