Teenie, well … OK ,,, gud reesons to wate 12 weeks. But tehn they so growwed up, new adopti — adot — new fambly duzzent get to know them wen theyre speshully cyuut. But I always like to see peeple take two together, so they keep playin together.

I’m reading that the research over the last ten or twenty years is showing that there are no drawbacks, and some definite benefits, to early spay and neuter. As early as two or three months. The kittens recover much faster than the bigger cats. So if I keep them that long, I can do it, and know they won’t be making more generations from this particular line of feral cats. The humane society will reimburse most of the cost.

And, oh, Tidmun, you are right she must be glad to have finally had them. I photoshopped it out, but she had several red patches on her back that looked like sores. First one, and then two, and then four. The kittens must have been kicking, or making her back really sore. They weren’t infections, just places she had licked and licked and licked till the fur was gone. It’s growing back now.
