As a home brewer who unnerstans the differmints between an ale and a lager and who unerstans dat ale and red wine should served at about the same temp and I know dat Lager is the German werd for cold storage and lagers should be served at about the same temp as white wines. Ales, made wiff top frementing yeast, ferment best at 68 fer less than one munth. Lagers, made wiff a bottom fermenting yeast need longer slower and colder fermenting at about 40 for at least three munths. I really likes wimmens who appreciate and perhaps unnerstands beer and wine (and other drinks also doesnt’ hurt). Esther likes Schwartz bier- rausch bier - porters - and nut brown ales (also black and tans but not the strait Guiness (she say dats nawt a drink, dats a meal).
