Not necessarily. The long “tail” is a skid mark as the bird fell down the window. They may fly, but they can’t climb on glass.

Methinks magpie, or maybe jay. Certainly NOT watching where he/she was going, LOL!

based on the perfectness (or seemingly) of the outline and the impressions, im ganna say hand done on a dirty window especially for this website, or another such website… honestly i have had lots of birds hit my glass doors, even when they were that dirty,, and they make marks that look more like bird droppings (only big as the bird).. just a normal splat.. only in cartoons does the impression in the wall look like the object thrown threw it.

Based on size, length of tail, and the fact that mouse birds are the clumsiest thing on wings, my guess is that it was a mouse bird.

If it makes yu feel any betta, I see burds smacking intu my living room winda at least a cuple of times a week, ushully little teensy burds like sparros or finches. I’m not sure what’s up w/that. Are they trying to aim for the burd feeder an missing (by, like 3 feet)? Are they attacking the window, and Y would they? Sum of them hit the window 3 or 4 times in a row, then give up an fly away. Alwais the same windo, too. Anyway, non uv the burds have been killed so far, and judging by how kwikly an enerjetically they fly away, they donut seem to be injured, eether. It duzzint seem like a very fun hobbee if you ask me, but the burds seem to be OK.

It’s just u and me, rite, Fifi? Then I tells u how it happened. I saw MaryO’s lines and thinked I could take a few minutes away from werk to write anudder verse about teh burd. Is easy because I knoes teh song by hart (No, it’s not by Johnny Hart; it’s by Lol McCartney). Anyways, I sing first line to mahself in mah hed and come up with werds that fit this lolpic. I don’t knoes how I does it but I can does it fairly quickly and I thank Ceiling Cat for it.

But then I gets to last line “Oh, I believe in yesterday” and I say to mahself “^%*#!” I no can think of line that rhymes and that would end mah verse rite! I has LOL’d mahself into a corner! And nobuddy puts LCB inda corner! And I don’t has lots of time! And I’m not gonna pay a lot for this muffler!

So I try a old trick to get a rhyme: I goes through teh alphamabet. “…Ay, …bay, …cay, …day, etc.ay.” When I gets to “…fay” mah brane screen goes blank and teh “Scene Missing” card is inserted for a few sekkonds. Next thing I knoes, I has rited “I beleev I’ve ailed-fay” and all is done. I has been alone teh hole time so I is priddy sure I is teh one what rited it.
.
All this to say that I often read about songwriters who say that they donut knoes *whare* their leerics come from, they just come. Same here, only I is not a famuss songriter. Just a not-famuss song-parodyer.
