The world gets smaller all the tyme. Germany was so beautiful. When I lived there, it was like being homesick for a place I’d never been, if that makes any sense at all. I was enchanted with everything. They had dumpsters for recycling paper, plastic, and glass, and I remember thinking “What a great idea, but that would never work back home.” This was in the early 80’s.
Now that’s wild. The mister was a tanker with the 3/64 at Conn, but he spent a lot of time at Ledward working in the post office.
(And the first time I ever had Cordon Bleu was at the train station - it was their specialty.)
