But then I cawled teh inshoorunc an they caem an tuk pikshors an teh tree guise caem an cut teh trees off mah hows an yard. I gaev them away to mah naybors. We awl lost trees but teh tree guise sed mah property wuz teh wurst he’d seen.
Two days after teh trees fell, I got offer frum Arbor Day in mayl. Figgered it wuz sine frum God. So I ordered treez. Planted them, water them, watch them grow.

Yes, I luvs teh trees. I figger I lost abowt 1 tree evry 15 to 20 minnits that nite uv teh bad storm (wuz Janyoowayree 2004). Menny trees that fell fell on teh hows. Half teh roof had to be replayced. I wuz insied teh hows fur teh whole thing. Wuz cryin for teh trees. Wuz cryin for teh hows. Wuz scayred, so scayred. Power wuz owt for cupple dayz. Fone wuz owt fur a whyle too. Looked liek a war zone. Will never furget sownd uv trees fawling - KRAK liek a cannon, then teh THUD an teh howse shook.
Howses can be fixed, an mien wuz - but it took a whyle. Very sad tiem.
