I awoke this morning and the first thing that ran through my mind was how
I acted on here and I was full of horror and shame.

I almost did not have the nerve to come and read it again…I was going to
post an apology on the bottom of the page. But I did, and I see that you
showed some class and did not blast me the way I deserved.

I actually thought I had been far ruder and hateful, but this was bad
enough. I sincerely apologize for making such a ass of myself to you,
Daphne, and to everyone else who read this and knows me and is prob-
ably as stunned and surprised by my nastiness as I.

I have been miserable all day thinking about it. I hope you just thought
to yourself, “What an ass” and moved on, and forgot about it.

I couldn’t figure out what exactly it was that made me so inflamed, but
now that I read it again I realize I had forgotten about what you said about
seeing the animal instead of some clever spin thing. A

If you only knew what bleeding hearts for the animals we are here.Of
