Ever since a few weeks ago I’ve been wary of any picture involving a baby doing something stupid with a cat (not seriously injuring it/hurting it/having it’s life in danger) somehow involved because of the outcry from a certain picture.

Of course we all like cats. We just have an understanding of innocence, too.
And the cat seems very used to that baby. A lot of cats become really tolerant of that because they know it’s not a serious threat.

It’s amazing just how good many cats are at not hurting human kittens!

My sweet, aptly-named Chaos, who died at 17 a couple years ago, never harmed my now-13-yr-old son, despite being roughly loved. And, I once caught my son wearing our current queen NIkki as a cape. She kept her paws down and did not push away, apparently to avoid scratching him. My huband and I have the occasional scar here and there from past disagreements, but none on the kid!
