OMGOSH that comment is so on the money. Holding a little fluff of God in your hand. That perfectly describes the feeling I have every time I hold Scooby. I found her last summer and raised her from a pinky. She’s the love of my life (don’t tell my husband). I’ve tried many times to express that feeling, when I look down at her napping in my hands and stare awstruck at the way she’s put together, the way she interacts, thinks and reasons. Your words couldn’t say it any better.

Oh yez! One time Iz moved a skwerl that had been fritened by mi kitteh. Iz picked it up an carried it to a tree - u are right - holding them is so sweet - such dear faces.

Put skwerl on tree - he did nawt move!!! I was worried but went back indoors (wid mi kitteh!) and watched - after 5 min, the skwerl recovered & climbed further up deh tree.

Iz think the skwerl fainted. But it was so sweet to hold it in my hand.

In deh Boston Common, skwerls (who are OH so FAT!!!) will take peanuts from yur hand. Their paws are so light and soft.

Dey are grate creaturez!!!!!

C’s H — taht so true a description. 2day I wuz rememberin my father, who left us 2 years ago. He lubbed teh animals. All teh animals — teh pets, the wilds ones, an eberything about them. He wudda said “yep” to that desripshun of holding the small and teh helpless ones, an knowin you have to help them.
