Why this prove he crazy? Just because he has religion? Who’s to say which one is right and which isn’t? Christians?
Whether you like him or not, he has a fundamental belief to do something to help people and better the world (which is more than I can say for TONS of people the world over), so when did that become crazy as a human being?
Having a belief in itself doesn’t signify whether someone is insane — or sane. It matters a lot WHAT that belief is, and whether the believer is able to function reasonably in a society — not to mention talk shows — that are remarkably tolerant of various viewpoints.
Also, although having a belief may be okay, being convinced that others need to have it, or disparaging those who believe in other things (psychiatry for Scientologists, karmic rebirth for Christians, whatever) is not okay. It’s troubling at best, offensive at worst, and kinda creepy in the middle. You’d think we would have learned tolerance, after all these centuries of religious wars.
