Oooh! Crawfish! Actually… where ever we went when we were there, they were always OUT of crawfish! We did get some awesome Po’Boys,

He also lived in Amie, Hammond, Roseland, and New Orleans. He also loved to go fishing on Grand Isle, and we didn’t get a chance to go there, but next time, darnit!

Okay – teh fing peeple say in New Orleanz is “where y’at?” It duzzent meen “where are you?”. It means something like “how ya doin?”, or “how’s it going” – kind of like in French, “comment ca va?” I ain’t nebber herd it anywhere but N.O., an not even in all parts of town. The response is not spozed to be “I’m right here in frunt of you, stoopy.”, but something like, “yeah, what’s happening?”, or most othent…..authanti…..reely reel “Aaaall rite.”
