The solo was choreographed by Michel Fokine. He had been practising the Swan sequence from Saint-Saen’s ‘Carnival of the Animals’ on the mandolin, and Pavlova realised it would be suitable for her. I have been told by a classmate at WSU that his cat recently destroyed a 24″ LCD that he was using as a monitor becuase (like my kitten) his cat thought the pointer was “prey.” He didn’t say if it was due to a cat jumping into the screen or scratching the heck out of it. Either way I’ve been keeping my kitten away from the ‘puter. I’ll ask him how the destruction occured, though.
I have a scratch on my flat screen from an enthusiastic kitty who likes to watch me play WoW.

Got a response from my classmate- yep, scratched the hell out of the LCD… apparently retribution for a claw trimming (hmm… flat screen feels silky on my freshly cut claws!)
