da phrase, “oh my god, it’s full of stars” is from teh book version of 2001, but was recorded to be played in da 2010 movie. (kubrick diddn’t like dialog very much for the film - he wanted it to be more like “real” life where lots of times, people don’t talk much)

in “nightfall” the phrase is more like “the sky…it’s full of… stars” (but i can’t find my copy to verify the exact terminology…)
