I lost mai dear buddie Furhead about 7 yeers ago, and sumtymes, I still gets that pain in mai hart frum missing her. But it iz not liek it wuz, so hot and piercing, de strangest pain I eber had.

I still cries ofer my Squit and Snert kittehs and dey gone to Rainbow Bridge >15 years ago.

My turtlols will out-live me, so I will wait for dem ober Rainbow Bridge, where Jethro waits for you. It was said earlier, that he will be there to make the way better for you when its your time.

God gives us animals to luf and does not let them live as long as us so we know what unconditional love is and what it is to lose it. Bee nawt too sad, he is in the Better Playze and you WILL see him again.

My heart cries with yours though. It gets better, though. Nawt right away, but it will.

I’ve got heer late, so I’m glad u are getting sum heeling for ur pain and some acceptance. Almost the first time I posted on this site was to tell about the loss of my Jester and everyone was so lovely and really helped me with it. (Lolspeak off, I can’t lolspeak and cry at the same time.) I loved the pictures of ur big boy, so handsome. I still miss Jezz, well its only a couple of months and Newsprint, (Printie) too – a day or two ago was thinking when I get the skills I want to do a montage of pix of her with the backing of “Ain’t No sunshine” coz that’s how I felt the two times she ran off and got lost for a while… now she’s gone physically but I agree with the others; love lasts forever and they’re always in our hearts. And the pain of loss is nothing to the riches of having them.

My husband and I have many kittehs, and have lost several over the last few years. I completely understand the pain of losing such a friend and sympathize with the other folks who have lost their kittehs. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and know that they are still in our hearts, and we will see them again.

As we have no real children, our cats are our kits. Last August, we found out our Jonesy has cancer. We starting giving him medication, and thought we would lose him. But, he is still doing very well (5 months later), but in the meantime, we lost Harriet to congestive heart failure. A big surprise.

I am so grateful to all of you who post pictures of such cute cats that my head and heart go splortz, and for the wonderful posts that you make — it helps me to realize that there are people who understand what pets can mean to you.

Even though Kipling sounds as though the last thing he would do is get another dog, Ithink he is just about to set himself up for another heart wrenching loss.

The love continues. Animals never separate from G-d the way people do, and return gently to the realm of the SPirit. It is why death doesn’t bother them the way it does us. Jethro is fine, nestling in the arms of the Creator.
