As much as I hate to admit it, Anne has a point. It is common knowledge in the world of animal rescue that there are those mentally ill individuals in our society who copy bad things they see. So, we do try to be careful and protect the innocent from the insane.
It’s easy to forget that ICHC has a vast audience of all kinds of people, from all walks of life. It’s not just the smaller percentage of us who participate in this community. We do love cats. We would never hurt them. But I, for one, find ICHC a refreshing breath of fresh air, a place to laugh, to be silly and most of all not to be judged harshly. I would hate to lose that, but I will also remember, in the future, to be more responsible about what I do treat as humorous.
