manee moons ago (25 years? How can that be?) I was drivin with mai fiance (now hubby), an saw somethin IN a POTHOLE! I yelled at him to stop an let me owt, NOW! It was a itty bitty kitteh, stickin hims hed out of teh pothole, an den duckin back down. So I rescued him. Coodn’t take him home wit me, so took him to future in laws farm and convinced one of teh mommah kittehs that she wanted a new baby. So we alwl loved him and squeezed him and called him Ferrett.

Decided then and there that fiance and future in laws were keepers, cuz they didn’t think I was too weerd, and made a home for teh kitteh.

Stop there if you don’t want the sad ending….

He got eaten by an owl about 2 months later. But, at least teh 2 months he had his belly was full and he was loved.
