Well, I never saw this photo before and I think it’s just the kind of wonderfully funny lift I needed.
Serious answer about the photo: This is a honeysuckle tree, and the cats are perched like that because honeysuckle is every bit as potent a kitty-drug as catnip (even more, to some cats). I’ve seen multiple cats perched in my own honeysuckle tree, stoned and happy, and higher than the proverbial kite.
Thank you for the answer. My curiosity would have suffered, otherwise. But a tree? My honeysuckle is a vine. ??
