off topic–good newz: today I heard from my son, an Infantry soldier in Iraq. He made frenz with a stray kitteh which he has named Wall A/C Cat…not unlike ceiling cat but “doesn’t haz as great a view.” It warms my heart that my boi has made kitteh frenz on each deployment…who knew I’d be sending care packages to kittehs in the Middle East?! But hey, whatever it takes to keep the soft nurturing part of my soljer alive, right?! Hard news: He is in a berry scaree part of EE-rock this time. I’m askeeng chz frenz to put der pawz togedder and pray for dese bwave soljerz. Thx from deepses part ob my hart. ICHC haz been a fun distrakshun for bofe of us. 2.5 months down, 12.5 to go.

Glad he finds a liddul fluff of luv an warmth to snorggle with wherevr he goez… Wuld luv to know how to help send kitty care packages too? Very moochually satisfying…treats for affection and cute purring sounds. Can ICHC sponsor a drive and have their loyal lolfriendians support with donashuns of money, treets, medcines, brushes, vitamans? Jus a thot. Paws together fur yor son ABC. He has a wunnerful Mom.
How could we do this??? Military wants packages to a specific soldier. I’m certainly willing to expedite this bec the support really does help the guys. And the kittehs too. the kittehs get passed along to the next kitteh-friendly soldier as the “owners” return stateside…it is good when kitteh comes with an adoption package with food and toys and stuff…these things are impossible to buy THERE! Any brainstorms on how this could be accomplished???
