I too once had a “undecorate only” pair of black kittehs: but they would only remove the red ornaments (it was an artistic statement). Another long ago kitteh - an orange Best Cat - would climb into a flocked tree, curl up, and purr loudly - he pretended he was in a snow cave. And we had a purring tree….
