Dis remynds meh muchly of mah own doggeh… hims is a big strong pittbull/german shepherd mix and he luffs teh kittehs muchly. Tis verry sweet and gets him lotsa extra snorgles for being such a good doggeh. He is wunnerfull wif teh notty bebehs, be dey puppehs, kittehs, or eben bebeh chickens. I has seen clumsy bebeh kitteh once scratch his tender doggeh nosie and make it bleed while trying to climb him (ouchies) but all hims did was yelp and den he lubbed on teh silly kitteh.
I heart hims. Plz furgive my ramble… he is teh big king doggeh round heres. We has six of dem (all but one are rescued) and he is teh undisputed boss dawg who would neber hurt nuffin. Him still finks he belongs n mommies lap, too.

I wurked fur Teh Cheezcaek Factory n brot lots ob cheezcaek wen I went bak hoem to MN.
Teh weather got bad, n we knewed that we had to git to teh basemint before teh tornado gits us. On teh wai to teh basemint, I gwabed teh cheezcaek and sum forks.
Iffs we had to go, we waz gonna go wif a mouffull ov cheescaek! Affer da storm, ebbrywon waz fine n full.

Him not Sammee–Him Great Pyr. *Very* big, *very* poofee dawg. Excellent watch doggie, too. They are about as gentle as dat tiny kitteh in teh pic–until you try to mess with a member of their family–then, all bets are off. Great Pyrs occasionally are mistaken for chasing or “attacking” children, but what they are actually doing is keeping them from harm. A Great Pyr can be “asleep” on your porch while a bunch of kids play in the front yard, but if one of those kids makes a move towards the street–you will see a flash of white fur, a yell of surprise, and then you will see a big dog dragging a kid back up into the yard by the seat of their pants or back of their shirt.
To give an idea about how smart and good a watch dawg they are, a Great Pyr’s favorite place to sleep is–against a closed door. But, they will *NOT* sleep against the door if it opens *away* from them, only if they are blocking it closed. Smart doggies.
To give an idea about how gentle they are, a typical Pyr will actually get depressed if it does not receive cuddling on a regular basis. Some Pyr owners consider people who do not give lots of affection to their Pyrs to be borderline abusive. A Great Pyr is actually most happy when it has a bunch of children climbing all over it and laying on it. Go figure.

She lubs on all r kittehs an dey run to her wehn teh odder goggie play too ruff. An yeh, she sheds an barks a lot an digs up holes in teh bak yard, but we lubs her NE ways. Pyrs is teh sweetest big ole goggies.

I had a Samoyed when I was a teenager. Her name was Tika. She was so very sweet. She wasn’t weened quite right when she was a puppy, and she would sleep with her paw in her mouth, almost like she was sucking her thumb. It was so cute!
