Dout it, cuz teh cartoons? Dey lie. Fyr departmen don come out to get kittehs out uv trees…too expahnsiv. Fyr men prefers to spend monee on puttin out fyrs and savin lifes. If kitteh stuck in tree, kitteh haz to get out byself, or hope owner haz a laddr.

Iz tru. I haz frend who haz big broddah who is fyrman.
Actually, we do not get cats out of trees unless there is a good reason, only a smaller rural department would do it no questions asked. Most larger city departments do not have the time to be getting cats out of trees, animal control handles those calls. We can respond to upwards of 30 calls a day in just medical and fire responses, we can’t afford to take a truck out of service to rescue a cat that will come down eventually when it gets hungry.
Yes, i do work for a fire department and no, i won’t say which one.

The first kitteh to join the fire department found it hard to get a good uniform.
Not tu mention dey gave heems a dalmation size bedz an foodie bowlz. De governmentz servicez don’t dapt well tu changez.

**A portion of my sales this month will be donated to the Jacksonville Humane Society, whose animal shelter has just been destroyed by a tragic fire. Sadly, most of the cats perished, although firemen were able to rescue most of the dogs housed there.
