I love this site so I’m not going anywhere. I guess it just upsets me to see a cat in the dryer. Some days I miss my Takarra so much. I now shut all my cats in the bedroom before adding cloths to the dryer. After I close the dryer door, but before I start the dryer, I always run and do a count to make sure all 4 cats are safe.

I’m not tryingto be a troll or a pain, I just don’t want to see another cat die this way. I can’t take back what happened to Takarra, but maybe I can bring awarness to other owners so they don’t have to suffer like I did.

Your thoughts on extremism are valid; however, there is a line after which extremism loses all credibility, and IMO PETA crossed that line some time ago. It’s good news that the homeless numbers are coming down, but I would give any credit for that to the efforts of humane societies and rescue organizations, and the wonderful owners who step up to give homes to these animals. Not to a pack of radical (and sometimes violent) loudmouths and the celebrity gasbags who espouse their “cause.”

By-the-way…Some thoughts on PETA. I find them extreme to. But I’ve learned over the years that when nobody is listening somebody has to go to extremes to bring attention to the problem. PETA just comes at it from a different angle than say a humane society. The important thing is…its working. The numbers homeless animals is coming down…painfully slow.

The black kittah was not encouraged to get in the dryer at all. G/F and I were doing laundry, came back to find Einstein (Black kittah shown top) inside the dryer and Kihera (not shown) trying to follow him in to not be left out. I promptly took pictures because they were too damn cute. Then moved them out of the way and closed the dryer and closet. They aren’t allowed in, and the dryer is never left open.

Sorry yer kittah is no longer around, and yes, I hope people pay attention to their kittahs when doing things that could potentially harm them.
