Ai’m still in deep moarning fur Florian. He wuz 20 when he died – and was borned in mai bed next to mai leg! Hiz mama Mitzi died at 21 just six weeks befoar he did. That wuz 2 1/2 years ago. Ai still crai when ai think of him. Ai luved Mitzi verree much, too. But she died peacefully in her sleep – awl curled up and happee. Florian wuz veree sick and ai had to taek him to teh vet to be put to sleep. He died in mai arms. Wuz werst . . .ai know it had to be dun . .

Fur meself, I am saddly between kittehs these daiz. Last wun wuz big orinj tabby boy (22-pounder) who broek my hart when he passed at riep old age of 17 (he wuz the diabetic – 2 shots of insulin per day, for 6 yeers; an he hated all peeps exxcept me & my partner, so nobuddy els culd give him hims shots; ai didn’t travel much for those 6 yrs unless de big kitteh went along).

Nevver thot I culd luv a big fuzz-ball so much as that. Himz name was (yoo guessed it) Gremlin. The orinj wunz is poyzen, they say – I say the orinz wuns is hart-brakers! Whiel I think I cud luv any culler of kitteh, my hart haz spechsul place for de orinj wuns!

Three yeers sinz that sad day – still grieving, mebbe soon reddee to give *luvving* hoem to luckeh kitteh . . . or two . . . or three . . . or more! Only two things I’ve alwayz known about meself – wanted to be a writer, and luvved kittehs with all my hart. In these kitteh-less dayze, I come heer to see pix of other peepil’s pretteh kittehs. Veree luckee peeps to have such wunnerful kittehs! Iz my daily (or menneh tiemx daily) does of kitteh for someone in seeryous kitteh-withdrawel.
