so. heres annuvver story. i got a tiiiiny behbeh kitteh, all black, from a frend in da church. da mommeh kitteh never comed back, an wun of da four behbehs died. so i took a behbeh kitteh. wuz close to halloween. i xamind da back end ov da kitteh. saw bumps. seemd like harbles.
mah boy wuz bout 5 yeers old. we talked ober names 4 da new kitteh. i dint want NUFFIN related to da color. 2 many “midnites” etc. or uvver pitfalls… i rememberd wun ov mah favrite authers: manly wade wellman. “manly” - mah boy fot dat wuz a gud name. den i fot of jackolanterns. “manly jack” - dat had a nice ring. i fot of the fuzzy bones novels and da man named “pappy jack”. ok. dis pretty good name for a bitty boy kitty…. coupla days later, mah boy axt if we cud call him “manly jack henderson” for harry an da hendersons. wow. whut an awsum name for a boy cat.
