IKEA is a Swedish store (also found in NYC and some other places, including the internet). It sells RTA (ready to assemble) furniture, cabinets and whatever else it could take apart. I have never bought anything from them, but, as a kitchen designer who knows what it takes to make good cabinets, I wouldn’t! Usually, RTA items made anywhere else in the world have totally unintelligible instructions. Hope this helps, Grammiekit! Now back to the fun!
PS: IKEA cabinets are WAY overpriced, but they have the European contemporary look that people like in their loft apartments. (Sorry ’bout that IBK, but sometimes you get less than what you pay for!)
