If this is really my Emily, you can snorgle that belly all day! She will not use her sharp ends when she gets a belly snorgle. If she gets tired of it, she just rolls over and walks away…

OMG! I have a cat that looks just like that from that angle, a laptop just like that, kitchen cabinets the color of that cabinet on the left, a hallway that would be dark off to the right and a towel the same color as that blur at the bottom…

I’m sure if I go dig through my gazillion pictures, I’d find a bazillion that look something like this.

When I would watch DVDs on my laptop in bed, The Catburger would sneak up and lay next to the side of the laptop … then slowly his head would creep up onto the keyboard … until half of his body was draped over the laptop. I kept telling him that he was going to ruin his eyes if he watched that close (and sideways, for that matter), but NO.

LOVABLE photo — wish I’d caught it!
But the caption worked much better with the 8/18 “Is not your BASKET, is my happy place” photo. The 8/18 visual is gentler: baskets are low-tech and embracing; there was a scarf and a pillow in the 8/18 shot.
No sensible cat (and they all are) thinks a laptop (the computer, not a REAL lap) is a SUPER-happy place. Works for a moment, for this kitty to stretch and nap, but I bet he loves his people lap lots better!
