Ding dang it, you stole my comment! What IS it with kittehs and cmputas?? But come to think of it, it must be something about keyboards. I am so old (How old are you?) that I can remember before there were computers and our kitties liked to sleep onthe typewriter keyboards. Maybe this is some sort of inborn behavior pattern?

But the caption worked much better with the 8/18 “Is not your BASKET, is my happy place” photo. The 8/18 visual is gentler: baskets are low-tech and embracing; there was a scarf and a pillow in the 8/18 shot.
No sensible cat (and they all are) thinks a laptop (the computer, not a REAL lap) is a SUPER-happy place. Works for a moment, for this kitty to stretch and nap, but I bet he loves his people lap lots better!

When I would watch DVDs on my laptop in bed, The Catburger would sneak up and lay next to the side of the laptop … then slowly his head would creep up onto the keyboard … until half of his body was draped over the laptop. I kept telling him that he was going to ruin his eyes if he watched that close (and sideways, for that matter), but NO.
