As much as I like this pigture, the cage NEEDS BEDDING. Guineapigs can develop “bumblefoot” (where the feet get swollen and sores open and bleed) on a wire floor!

Not to be a downer but I own guinea pigs and housing them on wire floor cages like the one shown is absolutely terrible for them! They should be housed on flat surfaces covered in something (shavings, fleece, towels, ect)!

Mugsy the Cat was arrested today and charged with assault and battery, breaking and entering, and attempted theft of food. He claimed he thought Skiffles the guinea pig had taken his cheezburger. “I don’t even eat meat,” Skiffles said. “I’m a guinea pig.” Mugsy had been arrested once before, when he thought a dog had taken his toy. In that incident, he was given community service. In the Skiffles case, the judge sentenced him to probation and had him declawed.
