I used to luv this site like crazy but now I have some doubts. I have never seen this captioned pic in the Cheezeburger Factory, yet it’s posted as “user voted”. WTF!1! I took notice of a comment from TB that more ferret pics were welcome. I posted 22 gorgeous pics with appropriate caps and not one has made it to the Cheezeburger Factory.
When are we going to have some new pics in the Cheezeburger Factory anyway?

Email cheez and tofu with your question. I used to submit lolpics from the factory all the time, but for some reason they stopped making it to the voting page. i talked to cheez about it during a chat session one night, and he said it might be a bug. maybe the bug is affecting you too. Thay also get waaaaay more submissions than they used too.

Pleze to be keepings ur wailingz and gnashings of teef to a minimum. Many of us, too have submitted many pics we thought had teh funny, but have yet to appear on this site. Some important things to remember:
1) Running this website is not Cheez and Tofu’s full tiem jobs–much as I’m sure they wish it could be. They do have lives of their own, and between that, keeping the Cheezburgr Factory from being borked and keeping up with the hundreds (or are we up to thousands yet?) of submissions they receive PER DAY, they do the best they can with keeping up with the posts. Many of the pics on the site from emails were submitted almost 2 months ago–that’s how hard it is to keep up.
2) In all seriousness, while you may be upset and put off that pics and caps that you consider to be of lower quality to your own are making it to the front page while yours are not, please consider that the pics that are making it to the front page were submitted by another human with very real feelings. Posting comments with a “mine are better” tone to them demeans the effort of the person who wrote the caps of the pic that did make it. It is okay to be upset that your own posts are not making it, but to claim that yours are superior to pics that are on the site is being trollish. As Cheez and Tofu have stated many times before on here, use the cheezeburger rating system to voice your opinion, don’t flame.
3) Humor is subjective. What is funny to one person may not be to another. I run into dozens of comments a day on ICHC that someone thinks a particular pic or cap is the most hilarious thing they’ve ever read, and I just voted that same pic a 1 or 2. While we all think our own work is funny, the reality is that it just might not be. Maybe it’s not in the overall tone of the website, maybe it’s not topical enough, or maybe it is potentially hurtful or offensive in some capacity that we, as the capper and / or submitter, are not even aware.
To sum up: Be patient. Be appreciative (both of the pics that make it to the front page even if they are not your own AND of the work that the site owners put into ICHC every day) and if you don’t like something, use the rating system to express your opinion.
