I figured the orange and white one was a boy (if it were a girl, it would probably have some black, too) and the plain orange was a girl. I had an orange female several years ago, but I’ve never seen an orange-and-white or black-and-white cat that wasn’t male.
I have an orange and white female, named Ginger! I also have a pale orange (peach-colored) girl named Peaches. You can see Ginger here.
My neigbour has an orange and white female cat that’s the splitting image of the one in the photo. At least, it must eb female with a name like ‘Tinkerbell’.
